About the FCI Centre of Excellence
The FCI Centre of Excellence supports faith-based organisations as they seek to better align their investments with their values. It was founded in 2026 by international non-profit FaithInvest in response to requests by faith-based asset owners for a one-stop, multi-faith home for faith-consistent investing.
Faith-based organisations collectively manage an estimated $5 trillion in assets globally so what they do with those resources matters. Our Good Intentions 2026 research found that faiths' commitment to align those resources with their deeply-held beliefs and values is real and growing.
Yet our study identified many gaps in implementation, often linked to lack of capacity or support. The Centre of Excellence seeks to close the gap between faith values and investments by providing the tools, training and services that enable faith-based institutional investors to improve their FCI policies and practice.
Founded with a commitment to education and community building, our mission is to provide guidance without managing funds, ensuring that faith groups can make informed decisions and achieve the impact they desire with their financial assets.

About FaithInvest
The FCI Centre of Excellence is managed by FaithInvest, an international, not-for-profit organisation serving religious groups and faith-based institutional investors.
It was founded in 2019 to grow faith-consistent investing globally by supporting faiths to invest in line with their values to achieve environmental and social impact.
The idea for the FCI Centre of Excellence came after FaithInvest convened a gathering of faith-consistent investors in Paris in April 2026 to discuss how they could collaborate to increase their impact in the markets and address global systemic challenges.
The Faith in the Common Good forum brought together representatives of33 faith traditions and networks from four major faiths which together manage at least $200bn in assets under management (AUM).
They called for a centre of excellence to be established as a one-stop source of information, resources, templates and tools to help accelerate faith-consistent investing globally, and mandated FaithInvest to set it up.
