Founded and managed by non-profit FaithInvest,we provide tools, resources and services that empower faith-based organisations to achieve greater impact with their financial assets.

We offer free and confidential assessments of faiths' investment policies and guidelines, resulting in a scored report and a roadmap with suggestions for improvements

Our FCI Assessment Framework: A powerhouse of a tool for supporting faith organisations on faith-consistent investing
Our founding organisation FaithInvest has developed a 10-point FCI Assessment Framework setting out the essential components of a faith-consistent investment policy and guidelines (IP&G).
It lies at the heart of all we do to support faith-based asset owners – and we believe it is a game-changer for faith-consistent investing. Not only does it provide clear guidance on the fundamental aspects of a faith-consistent investment policy, it also sets a baseline against which faith-based asset owners can measure progress year-on-year.
We used the FCI Assessment Framework as part of FaithInvest's Good Intentions 2026 study, published in April 2026, into the state of faith-consistent investing globally. It examined 275 real faith-based investment policies and guidelines (IP&Gs) – the first time such an extensive, detailed examination had been carried out – to assess the extent to which faiths' values were reflected in their IP&Gs.
The study found a sincere commitment and desire to align resources with deeply-held faith beliefs – but also significant gaps in implementation, partly due to lack of capacity, tools and internal expertise. The FCI Centre of Excellence is designed to address those gaps.
About the FCI Centre of Excellence
The FCI Centre of Excellence is dedicated to supporting faith communities as they pursue values-aligned investing policies and practices. It was founded in 2026 by international non-profit FaithInvest in response to requests by faith-based asset owners for a one-stop, multi-faith home for FCI resources, tools and inspiration.
Faith-based organisations collectively manage an estimated $5 trillion in assets globally, and as our Good Intentions 2026 research found, their commitment to aligning those resources with their deeply-held beliefs and values is real and growing. Yet our study identified many gaps in implementation, often linked to lack of capacity or support.
The Centre of Excellence seeks to close the gap between faith values and investments by providing the tools, training and services that enable faith-based institutional investors to improve their FCI policies and practice. Our mission is to provide guidance without managing funds, ensuring that faith groups can make informed decisions and achieve the impact they desire with their financial assets.
